Last release broke activity sync

Hey all. On 2/25 I got a sync failure after a strength workout I tracked on my fenix 5s going to my samsung note 20 ultra Since then I have been unable to get any activity to sync from 2/25/2022 on.

Last sync in app shows 2/24.

Steps, sleep, stress, other biometrics are working.

Versions:

  • Android version 12
  • Garmin connect 4.51.1

Troubleshooting attempts:

  • Cycle Bluetooth
  • Force close app
  • Power cycle watch
  • Initiate sync from watch
  • Initiate sync from phone

  • You most likely have a corrupt .FIT file starting on the 25th.

    - Try syncing using Garmin Express on your computer.

    - If Garmin Express tells you to delete anything, delete it.

    Ideally, you might sync successfully through Garmin Express before the final step of deleting old .FIT files.

    - If your sync issue continues, manually sync what you can through Garmin Connect if anything not synced is critical to you.

    - If your issue continues, when directly plugged into your computer, delete the contents of your Activity folder only.

    You should be able to sync again. If you still have issues, reach out to Outdoor Product Support in your region.
