Unfortunately, I find myself here writing why my Garmin Fenix 5 version 24.10 is stuck on the main screen.
Made several tests for the reset but without success.
The procedure I followed is the following:
1) turn off the device by holding down the light button for 30 seconds and then release it with the screen off
2) press and hold the start and back button
3) turn on the device by pressing the light button for a few seconds and release it as soon as the screen turns on
4) During start-up, at the first beep, release the start button
5) at the second beep release the back button
6) the procedure is complete and the result should be a hard reset
This system didn't work. When the smartwatch turns on it has an illuminated background with vertical lines.
At the moment the computer recognizes the disk drive and the Garmin Connect app on windows recognizes the device with the version mentioned above without any update to offer me.
I repeat that since I tried to reset I have noticed this problem on the display.
The watch has not taken bumps and I usually use it for running since 2018 without any problems whatsoever.
Do you have suggestions to offer me before contacting me definitively for assistance. Thank you. Marino
