fēnix 5x + AllTrails .gpx course fails to import both through iOS Connect & Garmin Connect web portal

iPhone 13 Pro Max, all attempts to load .gpx either by importing from Dropbox/GDrive in iOS into Connect app OR on desktop through Connect web portal via USB-connected Fenix are resulting in failure.

On iOS I receive error message "Oops! Something went wrong loading your courses." while on desktop (through Chrome) I get an instant error "An error occurred with your upload. Please try again." Both processes worked like a charm on my previous iPhone XS Max. I am on iOS 15.2.

Can anyone please help shine any light on this?

I get the same error from time to time with GPX files in general... Io idea why... Often run the gpx file through something like easygps and resave then and it works fine then...

Thanks! I realised the issue stems from the GPX file format I was downloading - changed from "GPX Track" to "GPX Route" and it now works perfectly. Only issue I still have is the AllTrails website on iOS Chrome or Safari won't open the download dropdown to choose the file type, so I still have to rely on desktop browsers. Good to have a solution though.

Please to hear you found a solution... What gets me is there should not be the need as Garmin should be able to use the files as is... But Garmin are not known for their software solutions and and fixing issues etc ;-)
