HRM turns itself off Fenix 5x

Over the last couple of weeks, the HRM turns itself off. Seems to happen after an activity. For example, I went for a run today. After I completed the activity the HRM turned off. I only noticed it a few hours later. Anyone else having this problem?

Could you please go into more detail? IE: Are you wearing the HRM-Pro so you expect the HRM to keep broadcasting your HRM to your watch? How did it work in the past for you. Thank you.
