I have been using my Fenix 5 for weight training, but have encountered a rather annoying inconsistency in how the weight gets logged. In some cases, the last weight I used is automatically used for the next set (my preference) and in other cases it resets to zero.
All my workouts are pre-planned in Garmin Connect and for each exercise I leave the weight blank. I can not see what triggers the difference in behaviour. The only difference I can see is that on the Fenix 5, whenever the weight resets to zero, while I am resting it shows that the weight for the next exercise should be 0kg. Looking back at the workout on Garmin Connect, all the weights are greyed out, i.e. I did not enter any data there and I purposefully avoid those fields.
Does anyone know how to set up my workouts so that whenever I do the next exercise, the weight I used for the previous exercise is automatically used?
