Tiny red plastic bit inside Fenix 5S

Just opened my Fenix 5S which has battery issues. When opening, a small red piece of plastic fell off the case. Any idea what that is and where it’s supposed to be placed?

Hi, it appeared that some connections were rusty, so the second time I opened the box, the ribbon cable that connects the batteri to the "engine" fell apart. So it was not the battery, it was the connections that were not holding. A repair would have cost me a new watch. So this is what I did, I bought a new watch (Polar Vantage) and I am back in the game! And I still don't know what that red piece of plastic was intended for...
