watchface with compass???????

Why would you want a watchface that drains your battery and provides info that is only needed once every 3 months (at most)?

Well for me the compass is used daily due to my work... so it is not a once every three months thing.....     I use Altimeter, GPS, Barometer, compass, Temp(tempe sensor)  almost every single day due to what I do.. And when am not working I am out doing the very same things I do for a job but purely for myself and fun....   So what may be a  once every three months thing for some is a daily thing for me and very possible many others too......

I was pretty sure I did see one but as the connect iq app doesn't  have a history and a very poor search function I can't locate it again.... Connect IQ needs a book mark feature, the amount of times I have thought  ooooo that may be useful and not found that app etc again is friggin annoying so having that function would be a blessing.

Ah. You need it for your work. So you need a certain accuracy. Or at least you want to know the deviation of the compass. Do you know the deviation of your watch compass? Is it calibrated, like other compasses used by professionals? 
Or is just south is global that direction enough?

You could always configure the compass to be your first or last widget. Then a press on the up or down button will show the compass.

I don't need it for work, having its a useful tool, I use the sensors on my Fenix5x for quick ref nothing more so compass is a general direction etc.... As to you other suggestion I KNOW how to set it up I have been using these types of watches for around 20 years now. BUT with screen lock etc it is not always practical during certain activities and situations...  And when most watchfaces can display Altitude, distance,Baro etc that I can quickly glance at, having the compass there would be a bonus... So a watch face means no swapping about etc this is what I am after.

LOL apologies for the confusion   What I meant was I do need it as in I can do my job with out it(normal compass, map etc? But because I have the watch etc I use them as it makes life alittle easier...
