It depends on what you do with your new personal record.

There is not a MAX HR Category to accept or not ...

You will need to use the "Manually Assigning a PR" step in the Support Center article since Garmin Connect web does not show that activity as a PR.

It's not a multisport activity but "Set as PR" menu is not available.

Nonetheless I don't understand the need for this step if the watch gives you that PR. In this case is my max HR in cycling.

GC should just inherit any PR the watch gives...

Researching further, Max HR is not one of the PR fields that Garmin Connect will maintain. HR will only be within the activity itself saved. Notice on the PR screen you can click the drop down box top right. It shows you what fields are collected and maintained for you to see if you accept the activity as a new PR. HR is not one of the fields.

in other words no full integration between the watch and GC...
