Temperature and barometer readings very high (Maxed out) since firmware update 22.40 from 22.20

Any one else encountering this is issue? I'm 99% certain it co-incided with auto update of firmware which happened 14th

Current temperature 290 degrees C

Barometer - 8558.2 mill bar

I have tried rolling back firmware to 21.00, however it doesnt seem to roll-it back!, when I check the system settings it always shows 22.40

My procedure for rolling back FW -

Download latest 22.40 Zip

Take SystemBackdate_2100 file "GUPDATE" and plonk it in "Garmin" folder on watch

Disconnect watch from laptop ---- nothing happens

Power cycle watch --- nothing happens (FW still at 22.40)

Any ideas anyone?

I am sorry you are having altimeter/temperature sensor issues. My immediate concern would be they both went out at the same time.

You should not ever run into issues with backdating your firmware software…

You should not ever run into issues with backdating your firmware software with the way you are describing the process. Which suggests there may be even larger issues then both sensors failing at the same time.

You can try a fully reset. Given everything you have tried and what you are experiencing, it is your best bet to try to recapture functionality and allow you to backdate to test further.
