Fenix 5 showing wrong TZ, sometimes.

My Fenix 5 is great, and usually when I t ravel it automatically adjusts to the new TZ.

However on this current trip to PST, it keeps reverting to my home CST.

If I manually go to settings/time/sync to GPS, it will sometimes then update to PST (where I am now), other times it is wrongly falling back to CST, and says it is already sync'ed.

Then for a few ours/day it will be OK again.

I did power off/on, no fix.

The only thing from their support was a factory reset - but I am reluctant to do that, as I would have to redo all settings and install all apps again - Ugh...

The time zone map in your Fenix along with your GPS location are used know what the correct time should be. The fact your watch goes back and forth is really odd since it should hold after your first GPS acquisition when you have traveled more than 300-400 miles.

You can try a sync using Garmin Express. The software will position you too. Other than that, you can try a soft reset by holding down your top left button until your Fenix shuts off, then let go. As a last resort, you can try the full reset Product Support recommended.

I wiIll soon go home again - and see what happens then!
