22.40 Change Log Notes:

Fixed potential device crashes and freezes.
Fixed bugs related to Explore syncing.
Fixed issue with adding power data fields.

They released it as official. I haven't received it yet.

It's at 50% release. Not everyone will see it until their serial number of their watch falls within the release range.

I don't see anything here about the bad GPS accuracy since 22.20. Is that not yet acknowledged or is it a few people only? It's quite bad, between 20-50 ft off.

what about the issue with 22.30, altitude stuck during a fast descent?

They said they have altitude fixes on 22.30 Release Candidate.

I can confirm It is not solved. 22.30 and 22.40 do not work. With both, during descent the altitude is stuck. I was at 4090m and it is stuck at 3994m, even when i reached ground, it still shows 3994m

Damn, glad I'm not having that. Did you try calibrating it?

I hope that it fixes the problem with the barometric altitude refresh rate?
Even after cleaning the air pressure sensor the barometric altitude on my fenix 5 firmware 22.20 is not all all reliable and hence the watch is useless to me.
