Distance measure

I have a fenix 5 and just bought and in-reach. The fenix 5 used with the explore app is outstanding but wanted the distress ability of the inreach. The distance on two occasions on the fenix 5 is 26m and the in-reach is 28 km when I am carrying both., I believe the fenix 5 to be accurate. How can that be, also on one walk the time was not the same yet same start time

    If you suspect it might be your Fenix 5 causing the GPS variance, you can change your settings to allow more GPS satellites to connect to and increase the frequency with how often it records your location while connected to those satellites.

    - Quick press your top right button and highlight the outdoor activity you want to change the settings on

    - Hold down your middle left button and select the settings for that activity. IE: Run Settings, Hike Settings etc

    - Select GPS

    - Choose either GPS + Glonass or GPS + Galileo to add more satellites your Fenix 5 will be able to acquire and use

    Also, go into Settings > System > Data Recording and change it to Every Second
