Many days match this pattern. Here is an example.
The activity reports 1,308 Cal in 5h42m time (activity is alpine skiing)
In the daily calories report, it reports 1,920 resting and 1,118 Active for a daily total of 3,038.
So, how many calories were burned during the activity, 1,308 or 1,118? (the difference in question is 190 calories).
BMR cannot be the difference. BMR is always 1,920 per day or 1.33 cal/minute. So during this activity of 5h42m, 443 "resting" calories were burned. But the difference is only 190.
For all the days i have looked at, the calories reported for the activity itself are always higher than the "Daily active" number that is reported. But the discrepancy is never explained by BMR being included in one number and excluded from the other. Where are calories disappearing to?
It strikes me that "something is wrong". Can anybody explain this discrepancy? Which number do you believe, 1,308 or 1,118 for the "activity calories burned"?
