What would the best app be to track my activity on a motorsports road course?

I am planning to track my car at the Carolina Motorsports Park and would like to track my speed, course and laps. Maybe the bike app? It would be interesting to see speeds >100 mph. Other suggestions? There is a "sport chrono" on the car, but it doesn't capture the GPS.

Is a normal GPS not an option? I would think that using a wearable in a car wouldn't be as accurate. With that said, if it is your only option, you could use any of the activities, (biking may be best) and copy it. Then customize the fields you want. Maybe also for better accuracy make sure it uses GPS and GLONAS and make sure the data recording is set to every second instead of smart track.

There is an Connect IQ app available for "motorsports". I have never used it so I don't know if it is any good and it looks like it is not free (yearly subscription), but maybe it is what you are looking for. Check it out at the following link:

Thanks! I might give it a try. The Sport Chrono on the car might capture the info, but it would be nice to have it like the Garmin bike app that tracks a course and shows splits. I need to do a trial on the streets using the bike app to see if it tracks through the roof.
