I've noticed my Fenix 5x counting steps while driving...
Can Garmin not introduce an option n the firmware to stop this happening e.g.
Periodically check GPS speed when detecting continuous steps and then stop counting steps when over a set speed (e.g. 10mph), realise this would consume more battery power, but a user option to turn on and off would be very helpful.
Option added to disable step counting for a set period of time (e.g. 10min, 15min, 25min etc) so the use could select when getting in the car
Are there any ways build in already to stop counting steps while driving?
