FENIX 5X - battery and altitude

Hello,

on my Fenix 5X, (I've always had a battery problem for months, Garmin is turning a deaf ear ... -45% in 24 hours without sport)

Otherwise, I occasionally have altitude problems, the altitude gets stuck at a certain value for example.

And I noticed that in the hole on the watch where there is the sensor that there is white. I wash it every day.

Would that be soap? limestone? Can I put it in an anti-lime liquid without damaging it?

Thank you for your help.

I believe that port or hole is the sensor for the barometer which is actually what gives you your altitude. I had issues with mine constantly drifting in value. Read some comments that said to soak it in a glass with dish soap. Seemed to help but I think it was a software issue because the issue suddenly went away. Your battery issue is likely software as well. I've periodically had battery life issues that seem to get resolved with software updates. You could also do a hard boot. Haven't done that for a while but i think you hold all four outside buttons down.
