Bought my feniox 5 plus over two years ago and the backlight is always on. Messing with the settings over the years, if i turn off the HR monitor then the backlight will timeout and go off as it should. This is a huge pain and the HR is a key feature for any athlete. I have tried updating software, restarting the watch, wiping and rebooting the watch. etc... For such an expensive watch this has been a pain with little to no resolution on Garmin or simply googling the issue. I am a huge Garmin supporter and am on my 4th watch to date.
