Time to recovery is inaccurate using imported data

I'm using a Concept2 rowing ergometer with PM5 monitor (firmware version 31) and chest strap (Garmin wrist based HR is inaccurate at higher levels ie..>140bpm). All works well when I authorise Concept2 to send the workout data to Garmin, except that, Concept2 doesn't calculate/send "time to recovery" to Garmin. So Garmin calculates "time to recovery" based on HR as an "activity" using the wrist-based senor. This is problematic because calorie burn and "time to recovery" at 120-130bpm using the wrist-based sensor is much less than calorie burn and "time to recovery" at 140-170bpm using a HR Strap. Any chance of getting Garmin to re-calculate "time to recovery" using imported HR and calorie data? Are any of the other sports experiencing the same problem?

Alternatively, If you use the Indoor rowing Garmin app and wrist-based HR and edit the HR data fields later Garmin doesn't then do a re-calculation of "time to recovery".
