Did you try restart? Hard reset?
it looks like hw defect indeed, therefore wanted to check if it is not some abnormality after first start

99.9% of the time, it is a hardware issue that causes your display to appear the way it does in your photos. Please return it to the retail store and let them know it was confirmed a hardware defect and needs to be exchanged for another new watch. My sincere apologies for the bad luck!
