Fenix 5s treadmill distance not recording

Suddenly the distance on the treadmill function has stopped working. Any ideas on how to get it working again...ive missed my completion run because of it!

Make sure your Foot Pod is working correctly, the battery may be dead.

thanks, I only have a heart rate monitor and its just had a new battery

I may be mistaken, but I thought you had to have a footpod to measure distance on a treadmill since the GPS function is not active for treadmill running. I have footpod and the few times I have run on a treadmill (I hate treadmill's) the footpod was the distance source.
