Two part two color course?

I often lead hikes along courses that overlap or crisscross. On my GPSMAP 64, I could divide the hike onto separate GPX tracks and display them in different colors so I'd know which way to go at an intersection. With courses on the Fenix, they are displayed as one color. Is there a way to make the parts of a hike show up in seperate colors so I don't have to do multiple courses in the watch when the hike tracks overlap?

The color of a course can not been changed.

That is not surprising. Does anyone know of a workaround that is not too tedious?

Not sure if I understand your issue. You can follow only one course, so you see only that one, so the other courses will not disturb you. If you mean one complicated course with intersections - watch show you also direction to go, which should help you to understand where to go. If it would not help, then I would propose to split into more small courses numbered 1,2,3,4... and activate always the next one within the activity.

Drag and drop a gpx file of yours tracks in the area you go to a software called IMGfromGPX that creates an IMG map that you save in the Garmin folder.
