Battery draining Android vs. iOs

Hi, I just moved from Android to iPhone and found that my fenix 5 sapphire battery usage (no activity) about .66 per hour or ~16% per day - it is insane
since on Android it was 6-7% per day.

however if I turn off the blue tooth on watch - usage 2% per day.
So I assume main drain cause by often communication with iPhone and my suspicion it might be lots of notifications (as on Android I was able to choose which application can do notifications and which not) on iPhone I can't find setting.. it is just soooooo many notification.

Perhaps there where post about this but I couldn't find any relevant.

Advice would be greatly appreciated!

iOs 13.6
Fenix 5 sapphire latest firmware 20.0 gps 2.60 wifi 2.40
Connect background refresh turned off

P.S. the watch has same face, widgets etc when I was comparing iPhone vs. Android battery usage

  • Could be very well bluetooth related.

I charged my forerunner 935 last Sunday to 100%. Did 2 workouts, one of 30 minutes, one of 1.5 hours. At the moment, with GPS on, workouts use 10% battery per hour (which is also way to high).

Now my battery level is down 26%. This means about 55% is used in 3 days time.

I do have loads of bluetooth problems. Every day, after my do not disturb period at night, my watch is disconnected from my iPhone and the only way to restore is to manually reconnect in the settings on my iPhone.

Unfortunately it is next to useless to report problems to dutch garmin support. They either don't respond, deny every problem, or don't understand the problem.
