As the subject line says. Ever since the update to version 20.0, I've noticed that the device no longer consistently counts my steps. Switching back to a built in watch face makes no difference. A couple scenarios where I noticed this are outlined below. I know Garmin is supposed to have a 10-15 step delay before counting to eliminate false steps, but this is not the behavior my watch is exhibiting.
- Walking around, I've noticed that I take about 25 steps before the watch starts to count, and it does not back credit me for the 25 steps. This is happening often, almost every time I start moving.
- Several times, I've noticed extended walking does not give me any credit. Just a few minutes ago I took about 50 steps and they never showed up in my step count. After I switched from the steps screen to the watch screen and back, then it started counting (again, with the 25 step delay that does not count)
Has anyone else noticed this? I doubt it's a hardware issue, as I never saw this issue before this software update.
