Fenix 5 or 5S? Please help

I am looking for a gift to my brother and want to buy a garmin watch. i couldn't decide which one is suitable 5 or 5S. in a video a guy saying that 5S is smaller and produced for females but there is also a 47mm case option for fenix 5s?. is battery life the only difference between 5 and 5s(with 47mm case)?

There is no 47mm fenix 5s

If you select a 47mm version in the garmin shop, you select a fenix 5.

The 5s also has a slightly lower screen resolution (and of course a smaller screen).

there are two options for fenix 5s, 42 and 47mm. so you mean that 47mm is fenix 5?
