Fenix 5 temperature problem

Hi, hello to everyone! Yesterday I noticed problems with measuring the temperature.

The watch shows 292°C or 558°F

Has anyone had that problem? How can I solve the problem?

My version software is 19.10.

I have got the same Problem with a fenix 5s on V21.

the temp shows an erratic constant reading at 300degC
Is the sensor broken or have you been able to resolve this issue otherwise?

No, I called to Garmin Support, they told me to send the watch to Kansas. A few days later, they contacted me to told me that issue couldn't be resolved. They offered replace the Garmin Fenix 5 with a Fenix 6.

thanks for your kind reply - mine is long out of warranty, so no luck....
