My Fenix 5 shows GPS signal acquired, but it no longer tracks distance while riding. I have tried resetting it, but that did not work. Anyone else have this problem?
With Fenix3 yes, sometimes that is acting like that, showing the green circle (sometimes lose it immediately but go back to green slowly, when it is acting like that i already know something wrong will happen :) ) and i get lat/lon position (i put the lat/lon datafield for a screen to validate this issue) but it is not changing when i start (or changing a bit but) and after a few secs it is disappearing and no GPS data recorded into the FIT file , neither at the 1st few secs where should be data position if the displaying was correct (but i suppose it wasnt :D) , so it was only a fake GPS reception somehow . I usually pressing the power button for 20secs for resetting, and after doing a sync for a newer EPO files, sometimes 1 reset doesnt help so i 'm doing it one more time, and waiting until 1min with green circle and checking the lat/lon continously and hoping it will record after all. Usually it happens in every 1-2 months, i dont know why, maybe after a charge when i noticed it usually , that could be the problem, dont know honestly.
