Fenix 5X 3-years old and still rocking

Same for me, +10.000km close to 900 activities.

Same for me but the altimeter/barometer ... Due the pandemic I’m at home for 60 days and I’ve lost the number of times I have had to calibrate both...

F5, next month 3 years old, sometimes a little bit slow(due to this awesome "Infocal"-Screen), just a few bugs(remember 2 restarts during activities, and a few forced reboots when connected with PC). 

Glad i took the saphire version => Never used a Screen protector. Had many hard hits with Rocks and Metal on the glass, but still like new.

My Fenix 5 Sapphire has been great for me with just over three years of use. Activities primarily split between cycling, running, weight training, and cardio/circuit training.

My forerunner 935 is still working fine after 3 year of daily use. Except battery life is reduces from great to okay.

But to be honest. That's nothing to be excited about. 3 years of use is the very least I would excepted. 

My first proper sportwatch (a suunto t3c) worked great for more than 3 years. 

Until I wanted gps, then my suunto ambit 3 worked great for more than 3 years.

Unitl I wanted ORH (which works not that great, but for resting heartrate is fine) so I bought a forerunner 935

I'm not supprised it works for 3 years. I would be very angry if it didn't

The great thing is dat there are no interesting new developments in sportwatches, only gimmickfeatures, so I don't feel the need to upgrade.

Fenix 5X sapphire since May 2017, still rocking almost like day one, no big changes on battery live!! Great watch!! Mainly cycling activities and only a very small scratch done in a swimming pool (lesson learned) ......

I have had my 5X Sqphire since October 2018. Works like new and I have had zero issues.  Mainly MTB activities and hiking.  I keep eyeing the 6x for music, but my 5x and my fenix 3 (non hr) have all been absolutely amazing. My fenix 3 screen was a refurbished model and the screen had a ghosting issue, garmin replaced it without any issue.  Of all my several garmin products over the years (I even had the garmin phone garmin if you are reading this bring back the garmin phone!) that is the only issue I have had.  Forums are usually filled with issues and concerns as people seek answers.  I have nothing but a positive experience  with my garmin products. If I had the funds to get the 6x I'd buy it today.   In the mean time my 5x saphire rocks. My brother still is using my old fenix 3 to this day and loves it. 

Yep I bought mine in early 2017; it's more than 3 year old now.  Sapphire crystal is near-diamond tough -- there's not a scratch on it.  Well north of 500 activities recorded.

Still working just fine.  Buying a 6x and am expecting it in a few days....
