I have a Garmin HRM Dual that I usually use with the Phoenix 5. I don't know why, sometimes it connects to the watch and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it even connects during activity. I always moisten it before using it, on both sides but it does not always connect. I wash it every 3 or 4 uses but it seems to be of no use. When not connected, the watch uses its own wrist heart rate monitor. The problem is that it is not as accurate and usually marks between 15 and 20% less in the heart rate.
I would like, since you will not be able to solve it, at least to know which heart rate monitor is the one you are measuring each time. Is there any place where I can know which heart rate monitor is working at all times and at sea during the activity or after finishing?
