text messages

My Fenix 5s is not receiving any Text Notifications whatsoever from my iPhone 8plus IOS 13.31 I have notifications turned on and receive information about telephone calls without an issue. I've restarted my phone and my watch and nothing works. I've also searched this issue and cannot find anything recent.
Is this a known issue with any solution?

    In your iPhone, go to Settings then Notifications. On the very top, where is says Show Previews, set it for Always.

    In the Notifications menu, select Messages. Beneath the alerts options with the blue checks, under Options, you will see Show Previews. Set Show Previews to Always (Default).

    Hello Chris,

    Thanks. Problem solved with your recommendations. 

    Next issue is that I can only choice English language. There are no other options. I have tried to restart the watch but it doesn't help. Any ideas?

    I have a s62...tried everything to get messages and e-email...I'm stuck....I bought 2 one for me and one for my wife...her's is set up the same and working fine...using iPhone 11

    Double check your iPhone settings with this Support Center article - My Garmin Device Is Not Receiving Smart Notifications from My Phone. If your settings are correct on your iPhone, fully remove your Fenix 5 from your iPhone Settings > Bluetooth menu using Forget This Device and remove it out of the Connect Mobile APP then Bluetooth pair your watch again through the Connect Mobile APP.
