Please I need some assistance from Garmin.
I have been using your products (powermeter, smart watches, HR belts etc) for a long time for triathlon training. I have never had any issues until recently.
I Have a fenix 5 that’s causing me problems for a some time, gps issues a lot of software update problems and now i had the worst of them witch is a button malfunction when pressing them (all buttons except start/stop).
I looked up at Forums at Garmin page and internet and noticed a lot of complaints about malfunctioning of these new watches (Forerunner 945 fenix5, fenix5plus , fenix6). I wonder if Garmin is still providing the same quality as before. And this fact awakes the will of testing other brands and I’ve seen lots of people with the same thinking.
Anyway:
I sent the watch to ProParts (the company in Brazil witch is taking care of warranty and assistance for Garmin products) and they are saying the buttons aren’t broke.
I used the watch to run in the same day i sent to them. And they are saying the watch is not working properly and that I need to change some piece witch will cost me the price of a new wacht.
I have all the evidence in my Garmin connect history showing that i have been using the watch and that i used the same day i sent to them. I have even sent the print showing the run i did in the same day i sent the watch.
It’s been almost 3 weeks now and can’t get to a solution with them. Is there anything Garmin can do to help me?
I would appreciate if I get a response on this because is causing me lots of annoyance.
