My fenix 5x is showing the wrong date. It shows Sept 9 and today is April 25, 2020.

Won't seem to synch either. Starts and does not seem to complete.

Did you try a GPS sync for 5 / 10 min outside? It will sync time/date

Check your phone's using correct date. May not be your issue but I've had my 5x sync show wrong time zone after syncing with phone. The phone went to EST time zone after an Android system update. Since I'm 12 hours ahead of this time zone, didn't notice until saw the date was off a day.

As it turned out, the date was wrong on the phone. Both were showing the same wrong date. Did a "hard" reboot on both devices and it cleared up.
