Pace inaccurate?

I have the same issues. I've done some tests with Garmin Fenix 5x with different versions and Garmin Fenix 5 Plus.

All my tests are in trainings outside with 250meters of circular circuit. The results:

- Garmin 5x with 18.71 have more accurate times and gps seems to be more accurate than in version 19.10. More or less one minute/45 seconds more slow with 19.10.

- The difference with Fenix 5 Plus is very big. Gps data is a lot of different in map. Fenix 5 Plus mark the line very accurate in the map, 5x have a lot of mistakes, in version 19.10 specially.

I have saved all sessions, if is necessary this data, please tell me and send to garmin for you're review

Former Member Hello. I'll take a look and see what I can do to help. For indoor activities such as Treadmill the speed, distance, and cadence are calculated using the accelerometer (wrist/arm movement) in the device. Are you moving your arm as you normally would when running or are you holding on to something? Also, after the activity is complete is the total distance usually much shorter than what it should be?
