Fenix 5x "repels" charge cable and won't stay in socket.

When inserting the charge connector into the Fenix 5x, the end of the connector pops out with palpable repelling force from the port in the watch, just like north pole magnet end repels another north pole magnet end. I have tried different cables, different usb ports, and multiple attempts to "ground" the watch port and/or the usb cable to get rid of static electricity. No luck. I have to physically hold the cable in the port (while watching Netflix) to charge the watch.

If you've a closer look to the charge cable and the socket, you may see that the cable has holes on both sites and the socket has bumps on both sites. So the cable snap in into the socket. Maybe this is deformed or worn-out.

I have the same issue, I have 'fixed' it with a large chunk of bluetack to hold the cable in place but do need to look in more detail at the cable and watch to see if a new cable would work better. For now though, it works
