So after updating the maps on my 5 Plus this morning the various widgets that use GPS settings are all just sitting there either "waiting for data" or showing the error message of "no GPS." I left the device sitting outside on a table for about 30 minutes thinking that maybe it wasn't picking up anything through the window next to my desk (which normally allows a clear GPS shot) but still no luck. (I haven't gone for a run, cycle or walk, so don't know if THAT part of the GPS is working or not.)
Do I have to turn something on somewhere in order to tell it to go get a signal? I have power cycled it twice and that doesn't have any effect.
