My Fenix 5X has had at least 2 updates lately. Today, when I tried to sync for the first time in a while, the Bluetooth doesn't connect to my iPhone.
The watch was having trouble connecting. So I deleted the connection on the iPhone Pro Max and tried to reestablish. The phone will not not show up under other devices. (Other devices in my home do) The Fenix flash is the "Waiting for Phone" Message but will not connect. I also tried connecting to my iPad but it will not show up there either.
I have gone through the full bluetooth pairing with no connection established. The best the iOS app has done is acknowledge the Fenix is there and fail to pair. Other times Connect reports the Fenix is not in pairing mode, even when it is in pairing mode.
I also tried pairing on an old Samsung phone without ever pairing
Any ideas on what I can do to pair?
I am presuming the Wi Fi problems are due to the slow response and error messages with Garmin this morning, so I'll work on that later if they don't clear up. Garmin web problems may also be the cause of the pairing failure, but I don't know how that could be.
This is a lot of trouble just to do a walk around my home.
