Replacement Fenix 5X coming. How to transfer settings etc?

Hi All,

I have a replacement Fenix 5X coming and would like to transfer all my settings, widgets, watch faces etc from the old to the new.

Is there a way to do this other than the hard way?

Probably the hard way is the best way for CIQ Programs..... You can use Garmin Explore for your saved locations... Tracks... etc... Or Basecamp...

MikeB Hello Mike. This article from our support center will help with some settings - Backup Personal Settings Instructions for Outdoor Watches but for watch faces and other Connect IQ items I generally recommend installing them again from the IQ store. Hope this helps.

Hi Anthony, yes very helpful and would have been very useful. Unfortunately I finished transferring the hard way and reset to defaults my old 5x about 1 hour ago...20 minutes before your helpful post.
