Any word on a smart wake option to wake you in your light sleep stage? Garmin is really missing out here, and people are already asking for years to get this function. Back in the days my UP24 did the trick and it was great.

Had this feature on my MS-Band 2 => was awesome: 1 alarm and i've been up, now with F5: 5-10 Alarms and all i do is turn off automatically and continue sleep.
Wish Garmin could implement this feature, but currently I'm even not sure if they fully make use of HR-data, for sleep-recognizing(MS was by far better, and in app the data make much more sense for the different sleep states)
something like this ... Smart Wake
I use it on workdays and it wakes me when it detecs movement in a given time-range.
Guess you also move easier during light sleep stage.
Needs a settings change for backlight during activty adressing battery consumption.

Yes, something like that, but native by Garmin and not a third party. Fitbit also introduced this in their latest update. Hope Garmin will follow!
Agreed, I think it also belongs to the basics in a sleep eco-system.
Using an app for this is eating battery for some devices at the moment.
hoping also on positve Garmin commitment, submit it here as an idea
