Fenix 5 Series and Chronos - 18.71 Beta Release

Hello Fenix 5 series and Chronos customers,

We have new beta software ready for your upcoming adventures! Two notes about this update specifically:

1. We have bumped the version number of the current beta update for the Fenix 5 series to match the version number that Chronos is using. This will make it easier for us to distribute the files. It is okay that your device is skipping from 15.40/15.41 to 18.71, this is intentional. 18.71 is the first update since 15.41.

2. After you install the 18.71 beta, your device will be able to update to the latest GPS software automatically. The new GPS version is 2.60. You have to update to system software 18.71 first, as this will make your device compatible with the new GPS software. You will be able to download the v2.60 GPS via Express immediately after updating to 18.71; or the update will be sent to your watch within 24-48 hours via Over The Air update from the GCM app.
