Backcountry skiing

Hello,

can anyone tell me how to create a program in my Fenix 5 with Backcountry skiing as activity. It is not available in the list of activities when I do this with the watch, and I cannot change it in the Connect app either.

Alternatively, can you advise a good backcountry skiing app that would be registered as a backcountry ski activity?

This would be a very nice feature! It's already implemented on the fenix 6, so I don't see why they can't import it for the fenix 5

Hi! I'm also interested in this! There is currently no way to record backcountry skiing from the fenix 5x watch. That's a new option on the 6x. I created an "other" activity that I named backcountry skiing, and I'll convert it after it uploads, but this is a manual and cumbersome process. It would be great if they just implemented this feature!

Should be relatively easy as Fenix 6 has this:

but maybe they just want us to buy a new device.
