I feel so let down by the Fenix 5 : why is it so hard to get a decent description of the features across the range?

I feel I have made a bad mistake with my standard Fenix 5. If I had really understood all the features I would have gone for the cheaper Forerunner 245. It's too late now for me to return it.

No emergency contact/incident detection, no body battery -are we likely to get these features added to this expensive wearable? At a bare minimum, I was hoping for emergency contact/incident detection. Really disappointed.
