I have recently purchased a Fenix 5x and im having trouble with replying to messages I get the notification and everything but can not reply I've got everything set to allow on the phone just don't have the option could anyone please help that'd be awesome

I assume you are asking how to reply from the watch? You can't with the 5X.

It's different on iOS and Android. On Android your options are limited to the app and quick options it gives on the notification. If one of those is Reply, you can use one of the stock replies you have in the app. Connect > Device Settings > Notification and Alerts

i apologize - I had forgotten that you have some capability to respond using the 5X when running an Android phone (as you can likely tell - I have an iPhone.

Yeah I've got an Android and can see all the responses that I can send on the app... Although the watch itself doesn't give me the option to reply

When a message comes in, I get the down arrow and Options. Pressing the down button gives me Dismiss, Reply, and Block app. Selecting Reply gives the preset response options to scroll through

When I get a text I have the option to dismiss only.. When I get a fb message I have the option to dismiss or like :/?

And my Garmin just randomly disconnects Bluetooth then reconnects very frustrating I brought it 2 days ago

The bl might be related to your phone rather than watch. What device are your on? I know Huawei's aggressive memory management causes issues and you have to white list Connect.

The app you use could also be the culprit for but being able to reply. Try Google's own Messages app. That works for me.

Yeah I'm thinking it may be the phone I'm using an oppo

Ohk yeah might try that see how that goes

Still doesn't explain why it disconnects all of a sudden too
