Fenix 5 External HR Monitor

Hello, all. I am having an issue connecting my Fenix 5 to an external HR monitor. The external HR monitor I am trying to connect to is a pair of Bose Soundsport Pulse earbuds. I have posted on their forums with regard to this, however they do not have a fix for the issue. I am curious as to whether or not there has been a software update that somehow causes issues. I have updated my earbuds and watch to the latest software, but to no avail. I used to be able to connect to my Soundsport Pulse earbuds in the past. The last time I was able to connect to them was in late October, but since then, the watch does not sense the earbuds when I try to connect. I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue and if there may be a fix for them.
