REM analysis on Garmin fēnix 3HR

Hi there,

I've just saw that my sleep recordings are not exactly accurate, as my REM stats are missing. Besede of this my watch is up to date, with the latest software on it.

Please advise, can I do anything manually, or this should be fixed within next update.

I don't think that the Fenix 3 HR has REM tracking

I’m sure I had in the past, also friend of mine has fenix 6 sapphire and he has REM analyses since the last update, that is why I want to see whether is possible to be updated in future.

Just curious, why do you want to know your REM stats.

I doubt a watch can accurately determine your REM sleep, but suppose it does, what are you going to do with it?

I'm just wondering. Watchmakers add more and more data, and users demand more and more precise numbers. But what is the use?

It is not possible as the 3hr´s about 4 years old HRM is not capable enough. It can´t scan your HR 24/7, only intermittently, and can´t read your HRV AFAIR. Both things are necessary the get REM functionality (which just rarely gets things right anyway).

Unfortunately this unit is currently not compatible with REM data, as this unit does not have advanced sleep monitoring.
