Looks like Garmin has quietly pulled this most troublesome firmware v15 without any notice.
Says it all really.

Sure, but you'd expect an announcement when this happens.
what a amateurism , they should flag topic like rollout stopped or postponed , but delete is really sad, like hiding issues. very unprofessional

At the very least they should have made an announcement. I sometimes think that Garmin's efforts in resolving issues is underappreciated…
Happy to have stayed in 12.00
No problems with my almost 3 years old Fenix5
This is why the do the phased roll outs. Just in case there's an issue.
Surely Garmin would fully test long before considering a roll out to 10's of 1000's of Fenix devices. Obviously not it seems, and chose to use real customers as beta testers and if they moan loudly enough, secretly pull the update.

you kind of expect this now, it would however be nice to post a message of reassurance for the 50% of people they have pushed this out to.
Working fine for me.

Garmin are a joke! I and many other users have been having battery issues and they have not done anything about it, it's been going on for years, looking back at all the threads regarding it.
So now I am on firmware 15, out of warranty, the resting HR goes UP during the day, I am climbing stairs just by running by the seaside or running downhill and the pins on the watch (for the charging cable) are corroded (despite beeing gold ones). What shall I do? Go buy another Garmin? The watch has been in service 3 times for the HR problem and it came back each and every time exactly the same, meaning not fixed. Way to go! Forgot to mention that the watch is 5x.
