Yes, I am using a foot pod and the Treadmill activity. When/why did the calibration option get removed when using the foot pod? I've been using a foot pod for quite some time, and the calibration option used to be available when using it.
It shouldn't prompt the Treadmill Calibration when using a foot pod because it will use the distance generated from the Foot Pod sensor (this required a separate calibration). In your case I'm not sure why it was showing the calibration previously. However, if you wanted to be certain the calibration option is available without the Foot Pod you can try a treadmill activity (using the criteria listed above) and turn off the Foot Pod sensor. After the activity you should have the calibration options.
Good news. The option to Calibrate and Save appears after the watch distance is greater than a mile, not the actual treadmill distance.
Thanks for this post!
I have deleted my previous post /it was based on check on my friend's watch that have never been calibrated and "Calibrate and Save" was missing after stopping the activity. I forgot that the Calibrate and Save will appear after selecting Save if the watch hasn't been calibrated before/.
I have just simulated treadmill running for 1.5km on my watch and the option appeared. My watch has been previously calibrated - last time it was 2 days ago.
So everything is OK - the "Calibrate and Save" option is here.
Thanks for the feedback and have a great weekend!
After version 20 update I no longer have the calibrate and save option and today I ran 2.0 miles. I do not use a foot pod or any additional accessories. Why does this option keep disappearing?
Same here, although on a Fenix 6 Sapphire. I had the calibration settings on the first run and after that I cannot find Calibrate & Save function even if I run more than 1 mile. I don't use any footpad
