My Fenix 5 has a frozen screen that I can not work around. I have tried a soft reset and have attempted a hard reset with no luck. I am unable to read anything on the screen so seeing what the watch is going is impossible. Any suggestions?

Hello, I experienced the same problem today. I tried to load a course and navigate. My Fenix 5 froze. I did the 25 seconds light button and then when I turn it back on I only see the Garmin triangle. Others on the forum suggest there is no work-around. How did you go?
Did you try a hard reset from the blue triangle screen?....
Is it possible you have a faulty screen issue?... you said you couldn't read any information on the screen... and you've tried a hard reset.....could you take a picture?...
yep
screen is nothing but the garmin blue triangle. the light works.
Same here! Just the blue triangle...
I had the same thing 3 days ago. I held down the light button and two buttons on the right side at the same time. It switched off and restarted OK. I had also been having problems with GPS time all of a sudden being 10 minutes slow.
Once it restarted I connected to computer by cable and ran Garmin Webupdater tool. I reinstalled existing software version and checked for updates. While connected by cable I also did a Garmin Express sync.
When I disconnected, there was a message on my watch that an update was being installed. This was strange because none of my drivers updated (I had a picture of the latest versions and no change),
Ive checked that I am on auto time and did a GPS update of time. I also synced by Wifi and that updated time.
