Hi group,
Is there a possibility on a Fenix 5X load routes with warnings, as in the Edge series?
Hi group,

Describe what you mean by warnings.
It does. TBT.
But it is not an easy task to create the
appropriate .fit file.
For short routes you can use Garmin
Connect for it but it is a P.I.A.
Besides the own Garmin Connect route creator you can use ridewithgps, gpsies our any other site or app that allows you to create a cue sheet with course_points (not waypoints) in a .tcx file.
Than you…
Hi Trippyz,
What you say is correct, but if I put waypoints I cannot use them on the data screens, they are only shown on the map.
That's why I want to use course points, because these can be used on the data screen, to see the remaining distance to the point, time, etc.
Thank you marcossaad, I will see the application and prove it.
Create a Course in Garmin Connect and you can add Course Points
Hi,
In the absence of trying the options you give me, I have discovered a way of doing it.
Through Garmin Connect we mark the points that we want on the track, and instead of passing the route directly from Garmin Connect to the Fenix 5X, I download the ".fit" file and place it in the "NewFiles" folder.
In this way, TurnbyTurn data is not saved in the ".fit" file that Garmin Connect automatically generates and only the data of the points you created is saved.
So the limit of 50 points is integral to the points that you decide to put on the track.
It's a little fuzzy, but it works.

Instead of connecting the watch and manually copying files, you can try the grouteloader widget that I wrote about. Then you get the GC file, without extra course points, wirelessly into the watch.
