Can i use a fenix 3 charger on a fenix 5plus ??

Hi i think im about to update my fenix 3 to a fenix 5 plus my question is is the battery life longer ?? and i notice it comes with a different charger ..can i still use the fenix 3 cradle to charge a fenix 5 plus ???
