VO2 max is not updated on Fenix 5

I have started the 10k Garmin coach plan 3 weeks ago. The last running event, when the VO2 max was measured was the benchmark run.

A week ago there was a software update when the performance status went away, and no has no information about the fitness level even I had 3 runs since than all are at a higher rate than 70% of the max, outdoor and recorded as a normal run)

Does anybody have the same or similar problem?

do a hard reset, press and hold your light button until your screen goes dark

afterwards a timesync is needed when not already done automagically

    and

check on all Garmin platforms your hr & zone settings

best go to Garmin Connect Web and sync again

    happy & safe sporting

  • Are you using the Trail Run activity? If so, then no VO2Max is created - use the Run activity to generate this.

The magic happened...:) Thanks a lot for your help!:)

  • Found my fix.  Vo2max is measured as 70% of max heartrate over a period of 10 minutes with GPS outside.  I ran every day for a week and no Vo2max.  What happened was that last week I had a glitch in my heart strap monitor and it read a max heart rate of 275.  That number got stored in the watch as my max heart rate.   Went into the watch and "yup" there it was under SYSTEM  --- USER PROFILE - HEART RATE.  Here it stored my max heart rate as 275.  Brought it back down to something reasonable and Vo2max started to work again.

Hope this helps some of you out there.
