Hi, I have had the Fenix 5 plus for about 6months. All has been good until the last two weeks. Every time I go to start my run the gps goes from green to pale orange and pauses, No distance records and no pace.
Its seems to have started happening since the latest update which is 14.10 (35fa420)
I have tried gps only & Gps + GLONASS bit still it won’t work. This is for all activities.
It’s so annoying!
Any advice would be most welcome.

hi,
try a hard reset by press and hold the light button until the screen goes dark
this clears the GPS almanac from the device
afterwards a timesync is needed when not already done automagically
afterwards update the GPS almanac by
starting an outside activity and put the watch on a windowsill or go out for a walk
check, gps version in the about menu on the watch
check, epo status in the about menu on the watch
check, for recent date of the epo.bin file in the REMOTESW folder on the watch
check, and delete for any xxxxxxxx.GCD files in the REMOTESW folder on the watch
check done
